  • Memphis The Musical

    Memphis the Musical: Winner of two Olivier Awards and the What’s On Stage Award for Best New Musical, Memphis was inspired by true events from the underground dance clubs of 1950s Memphis, Tennessee. Following the fame and forbidden love of a radio DJ who wants to change the world and a club singer who is ready for her big break, the show starred Queen of British Soul Beverley Knight as “Felicia Farrell” and West End star Killian Donnelly as “Huey Calhoun”, followed by recording artist and X Factor Winner Matt Cardle.

  • From Here To Eternity
    From Here To Eternity

    From Here To Eternity: Set in Pearl Harbour, as war approaches in 1941, the worlds of four lovers and the soldiers of G Company are about to be ripped apart. From Here to Eternity was an epic new musical from Sir Tim Rice and Stuart Brayson based on the novel of the same name by James Jones. The world premiere of the musical took place at the Shaftesbury in October 2013.

  • Rock of Ages

    Rock of Ages: A celebration of classic 80s rock culture, Rock of Ages was set in LA’s infamous Sunset Strip in 1987. The show told the story of Drew, a boy from South Detroit, and Sherrie, a small-town girl, chasing their dreams of making it big and falling in love. Rock of Ages featured 80s hits such as Don’t Stop Believin’, I Want To Know What Love Is, Final Countdown and Wanted Dead or Alive taking us back to the times of big bands playing big guitar solos and sporting even bigger hair!

  • Hairspray

    Hairspray: Hairspray told the story of Tracy Turnblad, a big girl with big hair and an even bigger heart, and her mission to follow her dreams and fight for equality. The show captured the hearts of the public and played for two and a half years winning 27 major awards, including in 2008, 4 Olivier Awards; it went on to be the highest grossing musical to play at the Shaftesbury.
