Our Dramatic Transformation project at the Shaftesbury Theatre has now delivered two new hospitality spaces, the 1911 and the Taffner Suite. Audiences are already enjoying the comfortable and welcoming environment of the 1911; the perfect space for all those visiting the Theatre to enjoy a drink or bite to eat before the show and at the interval. The Taffner Suite, our private hospitality area, offers a more intimate way to enjoy your trip to the Shaftesbury. Offering the option of a private drinks reception with light canapés or a full three course meal, the Taffner Suite has already proven to be a huge success with those looking to make their visit more memorable.
For larger scale hospitality, we are now able to offer our spaces for conferences, AGMs, photoshoots, product launches, meetings and receptions to groups of all sizes. The spaces maintain the unique character of our listed building while ensuring it can meet the demands of large scale catering and hospitality.
But we haven’t stopped! The coming month will see the installation of a suite of 14 ladies’ toilets to serve the Stalls level. This will be followed by a brand new Circle Bar, the Bertie Crewe, opening in early summer, and finally, our second hospitality space, the Ray Cooney Room, will open in late Summer. As the restoration of Princes Circus continues outside the Theatre, we are looking forward to a unique outdoor space from Easter onwards that will be open for our visitors and everyone visiting Central London.
