At The Shaftesbury, we believe that renting venues for private or corporate functions should always be affordable, which is why our room rentals start at £60 per hour.
We have a number of different size spaces depending on the scope of your booking, and offer dedicated events staff with every booking to ensure you and your guests have a pleasant experience. Catering is available at request, with our hospitality team offering a range of food and drinks suited to any occasion.
As one of our smaller events space, the Taffner holds up to twenty people, and has fully configurable seating. Rentals start from £100 an hour and it can be equipped with a large TV screen if required for corporate functions. In the evenings, The Taffner is our private hospitality suite, so it is also available to rent for pre-show drinks receptions or special events.
The modern space is architecturally striking, featuring a unique archway cut from the original walls of the theatre, which separates the raised seating area from the nook with comfortable bench seating. The Taffner is equipped with a private bathroom, capabilities for music, and a private serving area which can be staffed upon request. There is also the ability to have catering options in the space or in one of our larger bar areas pre/post-meeting. At the Shaftesbury, we also have several larger rooms available for hire for meetings or events, the largest of which has a standing capacity of 150.
