Photography is not permitted during the show. You are allowed to take photos and videos during the curtain call – remember to tag us on socials (@shaftesbury_theatre on Instagram or @shaftesbury1911 on Twitter) when you post!

Latecomers will be held and admitted at a suitable break in the performance. If it is disruptive to seat you in your original seat during the performance another alternative seat may be offered until the interval at which time you can go to your original seat. The latecomers policy is subject to change for each show and at the producer’s request.

In order to allow the whole audience to enjoy their time at the show, please refrain from singing along unless you are encouraged to do so by one of the performers. Please be considerate of other audience members throughout your visit and avoid disrupting anyone else’s experience.

We keep items any items that have been handed in for a month. If you have left something behind at the Theatre, please contact Stage Door on 020 7379 3345 who will be able to check if your item was handed in.

On certain performances seat upgrades may be available on the night from the Box Office. Upgrades, if available, will cost £15

If you booked directly with the Theatre, please contact our Box Office and we can resend your ticket to the same email address. If you booked through an agent, please bring proof of purchase to the Box Office before the performance and we can reprint your tickets. Alternatively, you can contact your point of sale and they will resend your ticket.

For the consideration of other patrons, food and alcoholic drinks purchased outside the Theatre are not permitted.

We are unable to store any bags larger than 35(W)x17(D)x42(H) cm, approximately the size of a standard rucksack. Suitcases are not permitted inside the auditorium. Please make other arrangements for shopping bags, suitcases, and large rucksacks before arriving at the theatre. Luggage storage facilities are located near the Theatre – find more details here. All bags are searched upon entry.

Children are welcome at the Shaftesbury Theatre. Babies and toddlers under 3 are not permitted. Children under 16 must attend and sit with someone over the age of 18.

Booster seats are available on a first-come, first-serve basis, free of charge, subject to availability. Please ask a member of staff as you enter the auditorium. Please note that booster seats are in high demand on weekends and during school holidays, and may be limited to children and people of short stature during these times.

There is no specific dress code for shows at the Shaftesbury. There are several staircases in the Theatre, so sensible footwear is recommended.

No, due to the nature of the show, the cast are not able to accommodate your request, this includes special on stage announcements & signed programmes however you are welcome to wait at Stage Door to request autographs in person.

All tickets are non-refundable once purchased, but you can exchange your tickets for a small fee up to 24 hours prior to your scheduled performance.
