Filming & Photography

At the Shaftesbury, we have a long history of providing a backdrop to memorable productions. Fashion photoshoots, independent films, and podcast recordings have all taken place in or around Shaftesbury Theatre.

All of the rooms in the Theatre are available to hire for film and photography shoots around the opening hours of our show. From the auditorium to our substage crew rooms, our classic Box Office to our newly redesigned bar spaces, even our iconic rooftop can be used as a set with the right planning!

As the largest independent theatre in the West End we have a lot of scope for flexibility, so however ambitious your project, we’d love to work with you to achieve your vision.

The team at DLT Entertainment can also record and livestream your event around the world, just get in touch to learn more about your options at the Shaftesbury.
